The summer program runs six weeks and has the same curricular elements as the regular school year. The nature and outdoor program is built around the individual interests and needs of the children who comprise the groups. The summer session includes children who are successful in a regular daycare, preschool, or kindergarten setting and who will benefit from specialized assistance in targeted areas, such as:
Building self-confidence by overcoming shyness
Dealing with separation anxiety
Learning to share with other children
The program includes parent feedback and optional inclusion into the family consultant program.
